Good luck lander. My wee boy has just turned 11 months and I'm contemplating ttc this month! The only thing holding me back is my work..feel guilty going off again when I'm just back

I've handed in my notice.... Got no informal childcare as Mum is 70 miles away, Stepmum is 115 miles away and whilst MiL is local, she's disabled and can't care for DS.

If we can get pregnant by November-ish I can claim Maternity Allowance as I would have stopped working within 60 weeks of giving birth, so fingers crossed for a swift one....

Basically, the pay increase DH has had in the last six months equal the monthly amount we're going to lose from what I'd been paying into the joint account from my SMP. So we're going to be on the same as we have been since October 2016 once I stop getting paid anyway

We have, however established that DH going back to doing 2-3 night shifts a month on top of his normal work (something he used to do before we moved in together) would earn us more than I'd earn doing three days per week and paying out for childcare to do it, so, go figure
