Brown sugar to induce labor?

Aug 3rd, 2007, 21:03 PM   #1

I've only just heard this one - 4 tablespoons of brown sugar mixed with hot water and gulped down is supposed to bring on labour!

Just thought I'd share that - have no idea if it works or not, but thought someone might wanna try!

In all honestly i dont think rasperry leaf will work for me either this time, i knew when i had tasken it with stephen, i could feel it contracting my womb but i cant this time so i have given up on my pills and just guna let things come as they do.
The brown sugar is a new one.

Just heard this too - 2 x evening primrose oil per day and another one inserted internally at night to dissolve by your cervix.

Again - no idea if it works. I'm just forward planning! lol

i dont think it does! apparently the only things that work are oxytocin (ur body can make that by having orgasms and nipple stimulation!) and prostaglandins (found in semen!) so the way 2 get babies out is the same way they got in it seems!
