That's fab that your sister will be back for the babies

seems like things are really happening now with the possible early arrival of so many babies. I went two weeks overdue last time so I'm expecting it again. I'll be one of the last I'm sure.

IN relation to strep B. I've ordered a test online. They send it to you in envelope and you take sabs yourself and then you send it back and back 35. The recommend that the test is carried out at around 35 weeks I think so I'm holding off doing it.

I have another scan tomorrow to check on size of baby.

Lovely bump Blue.

I've planned a Christmas meal for mums side of the family and OH intermediate family at our local fave pub in the 17th. As my mum loves 1hour away I just don't want to do the journey Xmas day and especially don't want to be so far from home at 36 weeks. I think Xmas day we will go visit my dads side and then have lunch at OH aunts with the family as they all live in a 3 mile radius to us and the hospital if we need them

Moan time - I'm suffering from a horrid cold! And literally can only have bloody honey and lemon -.- when is best to have flu jab and whooping cough? I'll request a strep b test now, thanks for the info Laura
How is baby looking so far princess?

xxxx

My boss (who is not known to be tactful!) has just bumped in to me in the corridor and said ' waw I can't believe how big you are so soon' . I know it's silly but she really upset me. I know I'm big and I've tried to dismiss people's comments but I am getting so embarrassed by them now. I just don't' know what to say when people comment. Even my midwife said to me at my last appointment, 'oh you are looking quite mumsy!'

I feel especially embarrassed telling people that they think my baby may be on the smaller side. I literally feel like crying!

Happy birthday Kate! xx

Abi - I had both flu jab and whooping cough yesterday afternoon (23 plus 6). You definitely need to be free from cold and don't plan a manic few days around it... I was in so much pain in both arms that I didn't sleep a wink last night and feel like I've been hit by a truck today. Ugh. She was adamant that both at the same time is normal practice, but I'm really suffering now...

Sending you hugs princess. I'm feeling embarrassed for the opposite reason - people looking at me like a total fraud when I ask for a seat on the tube - but I can imagine how you feel. Keep going - you're doing great Xx

Might be worth asking if they'll do one in your thigh, Abi. Not to be totally mad, but it's not that helpful having the mega vaccine in your left arm - which they do as it's normally your non-dominant hand - if you have to sleep on that side...

That's rude of them PrincessP. Are you eating a lot more than normal? My colleagues saw me today after a week and said I looked big, then quickly added in the tummy area! I said it was mostly baguettes and cheese!

Had 4 appointments in 2 days! Anti D was fine, not anaemic and consultant appointment very quick! Got home earlier than I would from work so done some jobs before I crash out!

Blueflower you look absolutely fantastic! Hope the babies shimmy around so your ribs get a break

Happy V-day for you Holding Thumbs and thanks all for the Birthday wishes- I have had a really lovely day with my super little family..

Oh Princess I'm sorry I know you're really struggling with this, I wish people would just mind their own business.. I know it's hard advice to take but just try not to let it get to you, and if it makes you feel any better you're well within your rights to tell them where to go! I have snapped at someone for commenting on my size (which is SO unlike me) but I have to admit it felt nice to let it out and not just fester into an insecurity.. Just say it's extra fluid, that you'd rather not talk about it and let them feel bad about it for once! Sending love though I can tell it's really upsetting you xxx
