Thank you! She just said it was braxton hickes and that most women find them really painful! An she told me not to google because its mostly American websites and apparently in America they actually have you in hospital with normal braxton hickes! She listened to heartbeat and said she sounds fine and she said my bump is growing perfectly so I'm trying not to worry.
I'm finding it hard to tell whether I'm having braxton hicks contraction or its baby moving? Sometimes when I'm laying on my back it feels like she's moving position and makes my belly go tight, does anyone else get this when baby is movin or changing positions? x x x

Yes. I found that baby moving tended to make just one part of my tummy harden, whereas braxton hicks felt like tightening/hardening right across my entire bump. I got them fairly regularly from around 29 weeks onwards.

Lol shes right about google i made that mistake! Sometimes im not sure if im having braxton hicks or if its the way hes lying i also think if they are moving alot it can cause one. They can be really annoying feels really uncomfortable but it means your body is preparing for the big day so all good! X

They are practice contractions, my miwife says that in reality women feel pain(though when you read about it, it says that you shouldn't feel pain) and tightening across there bump! My midwife also said that they are more painful than the real early contractions!!
We have them throughout are whole pregnancy but only notice them as we get further on! If your belly suddenly goes tight and hard then it's most likey braxton hicks! Can be painful too (mine were ) xxx

Not being well hydrated can cause you to have more frequent bh.

I had an irritable uterus when preggo with my son so had lots.

Quite an odd sensation esp when your fully cooked
