I think thats entirely normal - they recommend not putting on too much weight if you are already overweight. Dont sweat it, you are meant to put weight on during pregnancy

I do fall into the overweight catergory, but have been trying to eat more healthy since I found out I also find that I get full alot faster too.

Ive been very tempted to weigh myself and find out, for the last 2 weeks Ive had some mega sugar cravings and Im sure Ill have gained loads on that cos Im not used to having sugary foods/drinks. Might have another rummage for the scales and let you guys know.

I lost about half a stone in the first trimester, just because I was either being sick or felt like I was going to be so had trouble finding foods that stayed down, but since thats gone Ive put on the half a stone and then another 1lb or 2lb i think....So Im basically back to the prepregnancy weight.....but I dont think Ill stay that way for long!! lol

It's funny you should post this today - i weighed myself this morning and have put on a stone already. I was just overwieght before so am a bit worried I'm going to be HUGE!!! Never mind though, I guess I'll have to sort it out after babies born because everything I've read says now's not the time to diet.

Laura I totally agree with you, even though you know its normal to put on wieght and its perfectly healthy. I refuse to wiegh myself now, and even though I know I havnt put on much wieght at all, I dont want to start getting all paranoid about it because like ickleprawn said, this isnt the time the diet. Weve just got some work to do after the babies are born!!! :P

thats fab that by halfway you're pretty much the same weight! good that your putting it on in the 2nd trimester, I read that weight loss is really dangerous in 2nd trimester but doesnt really matter in first so much. So you're doing it all by the text book!
