i had it on, but didnt really see much of it, my dad chose that moment to tell me my mum lost a baby at 21ish weekd i always thought it was an early miscarriage, but it wasnt

It was more Kym interviewing mums who've had premature babies, visiting the hospitals and the nicu's. It must have been so hard for her
They followed one mum who I think had 2 babies born at 25 weeks and this was her 3rd pg.

She also spoke to the director of health about why there isn't funds for premature babies. It was a case of a 'whats this space' kinda answer

Oh and they also discussed the links between prematurity and cerebral palsy and visited a lo who had celebral palsy xx

These things are always upsetting but I do think that we need to raise awareness. Just because people don't like to see it, or read it etc doesn't mean it doesnt happen xx

Totally. I think we all have our 'soft spots' at certain times dont we.

One thing I was pretty upset and shocked by was a work colleague of mine went in to labour at 24 weeks and our local hospital told her that they wouldnt do anything if she delivered the babies She went mad and insisted on finding somewhere that would. She transfered about 50 miles away to Manchester where they held her off till just short of 26 weeks. Her twins are now almost 2......to think our local hospital might not have helped them
