I still had symptoms for a few weeks after the miscarriage. I hope it ends up being straightforward for you. xx

Hi Sunflower, if you don't mind me asking, how far along were you? The first time I had a MC it all happened quite quickly so this is all very unusual for me. Did you pass naturally? I desperately hope it just sorts itself out it's just feels so cruel.

Sorry to hear of your loss. It is a horrible thing to have to go through. I have just had my 2nd miscarriage. Was trying for 6 years then went through IVF which didn't work and then got pregnant naturally finally which ended in a missed miscarriage at 9 weeks and just found out I was pregnant 2 weeks to have another miscarriage at 6 weeks. Just wish I knew why. Part of me wants to try again to see if we can be lucky but the other part of me says just go back to the adoption process and continue with that, there is less heat break that way!! I'm getting older so will we actually have a successful pregnancy who knows the question is do I find out and avoid any more heartache or go for it and see what happens. The hardest part is my sister in law is pregnant and due in August and a colleague of mine is due in Oct and I just want to go up to them and scream!!

Hi Elmo39, I feel your pain in there my lovely, I feel like I'm surrounded by pregnant friends - I'm so sorry you're having such a hard time. I haven't had IVF as we stopped short of having it when I fell naturally for my last 3 losses but my sister had it 3 times and I know how hard it can be after you've waited so long. I really hope you get your little miracle some time - and if you do go down the adoption route, good luck with it, you would be doing an incredible thing!! It's what I think we'll do if this doesn't work out eventually - have you had any further investigations done? Sounds like it could definitely be worthwhile for you x

I am so sorry. Have you visited yr doc to find out more? From what I have read in situation like yours it is recommended doing additional tests to check out immunology and genetics. xx

Hi ladies, thanks for your thoughts, very sweet of you. To answer your questions yes, I've been on this merry ride for 4 years now and have had looootts of tests for some reason my signature 'snap shot history' doesn't come up on this thread, but to fill in the gaps, all MC's have been early bar one 2nd tri loss that was PPROMS no obvious reasons still 'unexplained' and now going to see a specialist in Cov for yet more tests. I'm wondering if it could be NK cells possibly.

LucyR, if you don't mind me asking, what is the history with your MC's are they all similar timing etc? Have you had any preliminary tests? If I can offer any advice I will my love I'm sorry for you too! xx
