Congratulations Nivetha28 and Purdiecat.

Are either of you having any early pregnancy symptoms. I had cold symptoms 2 dpo which lasted about two weeks, during this time I was exhausted. Also awake most nights this week with insomnia. This is my 2nd and didn’t have any of this with my little girl. Who is now 3 1/2 x

I’ll look forward to chatting and sharing your journeys along with any newcomers xx

Hi Leanne, massive congratulations on your pregnancy and welcome to the August group! This is my first so everything is new to me, it will be great to share our experiences together because I have no idea what’s ‘normal’ or not! I’ve also been waking up in the early hours and then struggling to get back to sleep. I’ve also had bloating and on and off nausea but I expect this is just the start! I’ll only be 5 weeks Monday so still very early, you must be further since you’re first on the list to pop, how many weeks are you now? Xx

hi Nivetha28 Thankyou! We’re so happy as we’d been trying for well over a year. I’m 5w 2days so also still very early. Oh and it’s your first that’s super exciting. I’ve downloaded the Ovia app which is really good for daily updates xx

Glad you started this thread. I got my BFP on Monday! The due date is estimated as 4 August and it says I’m 4 weeks pregnant today based on a 32 day cycle. How is every one feeling! I also have a LG turning 1 this month!! Xx

Leanne, I was wondering if there was a good app to download, so thank you for the recommendation! Xx

Thank you! Yeah I have the Ovia pregnancy app I had it with my first and it gives you updated daily! It’s nice to see what is happening in there!!! It’s just the waiting game now which is the worst part! Does anyone else feel bloated I’m the same with bouts of nausea! Xx

The waiting is so difficult! I had two chemical pregnancies back to back before this so I’m just so anxious to get further this time. I’m definitely feeling the bloat and my sense of smell is ridiculously on point, I feel like I could get a side job as a sniffer dog right now! Xx

What is a chemical? I think I had this last month/early miscarriage I had a positive test on the Monday and by the Tuesday/Wednesday I starting spotting then it turned into a period! So I’m with you on this!! Horrible!! At least we are here now so fingers crossed!! When was your last period was 23 October. When was yours? Congratulations by the way xxx

Ooh if your last period was 23rd I think that would make you 5 weeks pregnant? Yeah a chemical is an early loss after a BFp, it sounds like this is what you had too, sorry. I started to bleed after 4 days of positive tests on 31st Oct, so literally the witch getting me! But you’re right, I’m glad we’re here now and fingers crossed for a happy and healthy 9 months for us all xx

Hi ladies! Congrats on your BFP! I got mine 8 days ago and had my first GP visit today. Have had some pretty weird symptoms (extreme heaviness in my tumny last week, like pulled abdomen muscle, fleeting pain under both ribs, nerve-type pain in hip/buttocks, and flu type pains) but I've been told they're normal and will obviously vary from person to person. Just really nervous with every little twinge This is my first pregnancy and I'm so nervous with every twinge I feel! I know stressing isn't going to help but it's difficult not to! I also have Rheumatoid Arthritis and really hoping preg hormones will help in keeping it under control! Due on August 9th.

Hi LolaPepper, massive congratulations on your BFP! This is my first too and I am well and truly in the nervous camp with you! Hopefully this group will help us all out as we can all run our symptoms by each other and give each other support! XX
