My friend with her first baby actually put her mouth over her nose and sucked all the mucus out as she was desperate and it was in the middle of the night, I think her OH threw up - I couldnt help but giggle..

I thought there was no sucking involved with an aspirator..... i thought it was just a bulb like on the end and air suction pulled it out.............. like a turkey baster !!!!!! lol

hard to control though, you dont want a machine sucking on your childs head, it might pull too hard and damage it

When you've got a tiny baby who can't breath through his/her nose you will be eternally grateful that you learned about one of these - plus you won't be grossed out because you will be too frantic about your baby!

Thats exactly what I said when I first read this and a few people were a bit grossed out by it.
I know I would personally do anything to make sure my baby was breathing.

And going back to list of things to buy. I know I've bought loads but my goodness I still have loads to buy hehe. General bits I think I'm ok with buy I definately need to be buying more sleepsuits ect as I keep buying all different sizes or mainly 0-3 and 3-6.
More shopping trips for baby I'd say.... lol love it really hehe

for ebay!!! Ive got most things but have made a list of toiletries type things we need and going to send OH to get them for me. Its all boring stuff like baby calpol, ear thermometer, nappy rash cream etc... so I figure I can let him do that himself. Then maybe he'll realise we need some kind of bathroom cabinet to keep them all in out of a child's reach!!
