Panicking!!! Advise please

Jun 26th, 2017, 11:57 AM   #1

Hello all,

Im roughly about 7 weeks a long, but the last few days the symptoms I had been having have disappeared, I had terrible morning sickness and sore boobs. And it just sems to have stopped?

Could this mean I have miscarried? I have had no bleeding or bad cramping, the odd shooting pain maybe two to three times max?

We are having an early scan this evening so will soon find out but just wanted to see if any one had experienced the same.

Any advice would be much appreciated

Lots of people lose symptoms, especially early on and most find they come sneaking back! I know it's such a worry though so you're doing the right thing with an early scan. Lots of luck xx

thank you so much for replying

I was busy doing my dissertation with my first and didn't have the time to worry or notice every symptom this time I am a lot more aware of everything and a lot more nervous

Hopefully all will be well this evening

I was the same with my first, I think I was actually just very naive and never second guessed what my body was up to! This time round I've been so nervous about everything from the minute I got that positive!

Let us know how you get on after the scan lots of luck xxx

My symptoms disappeared too around 9 weeks! I booked a private scan and all was fine the lady who did the scan said it's quite common for symptoms to come and go. Hope your scan goes well for you!

The majority of my symptoms eased at around 8 weeks. It worried me so I ended up going for a scan when I was just over 9 weeks and everything was perfectly fine! It's very common for symptoms to either come and go or ease off slightly. I had very very sore boobs from 5 weeks to 8 weeks and then it started to ease off. I had nausea for 3 days which then disappeared and I now get it on and off in spurs throughout the day.

Everyone is different! Glad to hear your scan went ok

Your hormones tend to settle down a wee bit around 7-8w mark you'll always see people posting around then. My sore boobs left and I wasnt sick at all second time but around 10w there's a hormone influx and I got belting migraines from then on for a bit.

Symptoms do fluctuate loads esp in the first and second tri. Usually by the third tri your just fed up and sore.

Glad all is well xxx
